The whole TD.com blog feature could be kind of fun.

Yeah, I didn't even think about it until I read the idea in one of the "blog idea" posts. I've done reviews for publication before, and I know there are at least a few posters who would be interested.

I would look forward to your posts, as long as you saw some normal movies, not just the indy artsy movies you love so much.

No, no I know. Heck, I'd probably drop a review of In Bruges to start off, love that movie. I'd mix it up, old and new, indie and big budget, good and not so good.

If it's just me, you could put me down for a review every week, don't know if that's enough activity for a blog though.

Hell. Yes. Neck and neck with Slumdog Millionaire for best of the year.
I'd love to review films on there. If nothing else, just to have a clip for my writing portfolio. I've been published for other things (mostly sports/columns), but I'd love to get into film review (hence Movie of the Week)

I'm trying to se eif Chicken will also include music reviews and we can just make it the entertainment review blog.
And I'd probably kick it off with Gran torino. Though I am thinking of two-part reviews so I can get into spoilers, since I like actually, you know, discussing movies.

Awesome idea....I have a concept for another blog I am working on for TD that would include reviews. Maybe crosslist posts?

If I remember correctly, Chicken said the blog post could create a forum post. So we can have the review, comments on the review in the comments section and in-depth discussion on the forum?

I've never done it before, but I have written some screenplays. Does this help my chances? I would love to have to write something up every week, just to write.

Say, for instance, "I give Transformers 1.5 out of 5 tiger turds?"

Yes, you and Baloo should team up to recreate Men on Film. Not only was that one of the funnier bits on In Living Color, I'm sure you two will gay it up with your over intellectualizations of artsy films. It may not sound like it, but I really meant that as a compliment.

OK, I've been talking with the Grand Chicken and here's the deal:
We have to decide whether its better to have multiple review blogs (music/TV/movies/books) or just one review blog. then we need a title (though I really like "Men On Film") and finally, if someone can make a header for the blog, that would be super cool.
