The people who grew up in the 70's are the same assholes that leave with 10 minutes left. I guess all that screaming in the 70's must have worn them out.

I think they exaggerate the loudness in there time period as well. Just like there stories about walking 15 miles to school every day.

my dad went to LSU in the "glory days" and that was I assume what you are talking about. THe difference is that they were consistently winning and fans today are a little tentative.

students were the only ones standing and screaming the entire game. It took the students yelling "stand up" to get all of you almighty older fans to do anything. At the end of the game when all of you old timers were steady filing out, the student section was still full. I'm tired of hearing all this shite about how the students suck. If you don't like how we're doing, take your arse to the game, and stand up and scream the entire time. Please. Show us how it's done.
