I've always been a douchebag. I just randomly post when I feel like it, but most of the time I just sit back and enjoy reading what yall have to say. I really don't have a damn thing against any SEC school. I just like talking shite. My granddad played football for Auburn back in the day, and my dad's entire family went to UGA. I've got love for both of those schools.
I've gotta get some work done before I go watch my team play in the Regionals tonight. Yall have a good afternoon pretending that you matter!
Remember the SEC Championship last year? It sucks you guys can't get more eligibility for Herschel. Maybe then you guys could've had a national championship since 1980...the rest of the Big 6 is waiting on you.

You'd be mistaken. Auburn has 7 in football, 2 in basketball, and 5 in baseball. I meant ten each.
Frick aligning ourselves with Bama. We have the most complete program in the SEC. Our football team won the SEC last year and played for a national title while Auburn sat at home and watched. Our baseball team won the SEC and has a beautiful path to the CWS. Our softball team is in the WCWS with a first year coach. Our basketball team is obviously rebuilding, but we're only 6 years removed from a final four and two/three years from our last sec title. Track and field obviously does well every year. We've won the SEC 10+ times in football, basketball, and baseball. Little ten, my arse!
Raise your hand if you have 10 or more SEC championships in football, basketball, AND baseball. We know our role, lil Aubie.
With the exception of Alabama, we beat the members of the "Big 4" the last time we played them. And we obviously beat Bama last season once, too. Lol @ Auburn thinking they matter. Know your role...3rd place or worse in the West! Don't you have a cow to milk or a field to plow? Alabama will always have tons of pull in the SEC, and Auburn will forever be riding the coattails of big brother.

Eta: the big brother comment was especially for the guy that was waiting on it

Neither Bama's football team nor Saban piss me off at all. Great team and brilliant, excellent coach who work hard for every victory they get. It's you stupid arse fans who think that college football wouldn't exist without Alabama and whine to get your way all the damn time that really get my blood boiling.

And you guys obsess over keeping a team that went 1-7 in the SEC last year on your yearly schedule. Face it, Alabama and Tennessee have great history, but the game hasn't been competitive in quite some time.
If you Bama boys can make stupid assumptions about LSU being "scared", we can too. So apparently Bama is scared to play UF and UGA more than once every 10 or so years. Frickin pansies
Alabama's bye week was the week before the LSU game from 2009-now. Stfu

My entire family went to UGA, so I like seeing LSU play them more than once every 12 years. Yeah, that's my personal preference but that doesn't mean we get to play them yearly. We're a 14 team conference. It's stupid to rarely play some teams in conference. Nobody outside the states of Alabama and Tennessee give a shite about the third Saturday in October because it's just not competitive anymore...just like nobody outside of Louisiana and Mississippi cares about LSU-Ole Miss (sorry Tennessee...not a dig at you guys, just a sad fact about the current state of your program). And Ole
Miss is one of our oldest rivalries. If Saban and Bama are really "for the better good of the conference", you'd understand this, but let's face it-y'all are all greedy. Seems like it's Y'ALL that are scared of having to face Florida more than once every decade. Schedule tough teams like LSU regularly does (and yes, I know y'all open with Michigan...congrats on manning up), and then maybe you can complain. We played and beat 3 BCS bowl champions last year...that's hardly running in fear. Geaux Tigers!
I was thinking more along the lines of negative total yardage by the Bama offense. And "maintaining order" is fine by me!

I was about to type something about a mulligan just to piss in the Corn Flakes of the hoards of Bama fans that congregate here, but then it dawned on me that they might think I'm still upset about that game. BRING ON 2012!
We're the only major university in a very talent-rich state. After we beat Bama 22-0 this year to restore order, we'll be raking in the recruits.

(That last sentence was trolling, but I was dead serious about being the only bigtime school in a state full of talented athletes. We will be fine.)

Whatever...

Why ask if you don't want to hear the answer? We're 3-3 against you the past few years. I'd say we're gonna be just fine.
Well, we finished higher in the SEC West two years ago, beat you once at your stadium last year, and won the SEC. If our recruiting is subpar, then ole Les must be coaching them up!

wish you guys some success (except against LSU) this year.

Oh God, we've gotten soft. GEAUX TO HELL, Ole Miss!

On a serious note, I'm a traditionalist and would enjoy the LSU-Ole Miss game being as entertaining and competitive as it was in the 50s-60s. Then maybe the rest of the SEC wouldn't give us shite about not having a rival.
Blakely Chicken in Blakely, Georgia. You won't find better chicken or sweet tea anywhere, but there's absolutely no reason to go to Blakely except for the chicken.
No, no moral victories for me. We had a great season, and I'm proud of it even though Bama kicked our asses in the 'ship.
For the record, I'm not one of those guys that revolves my life around football. I was just as proud to be a Tiger on January 10th as I was the day after the SEC Championship. You win some, you lose some, and Bama kicked our asses in Nola. That game doesn't make me any less proud of a great season.
#2 in the nation and SEC Champs with wins over three BCS Bowl champs. I'll take being a Tiger over squealing "Woo Pig Sooie" any damn day of the week.
This thread is about championships. All Arky fans should just take their seats at the kids' table and leave championship talk to the big boys.
We are trying to leave at 9 lol. What way are you going up? We are going I-12 over to 59 and then up!

The Advocate had the previous 5 for $40 on their website last week. Not sure if they are still there or not but I would check. You still have to get them framed but even still it would not cost you 575 to buy them and get them framed yourself.
shouldn't be bad. I'm in the stadium today, but I'll be on kudzu hill tomorrow. Geaux Tigers!
Regardless of if they consistently show up, the students ARE what this great university is made of. Without students, you'd have no basketball team to be cheering for in the first place. Ad if you want to talk about money-making, LSU makes tons of money from the students-it's called tuition. They deserve good seating. Geaux Tigers!

Let's see...where have I been the past ten years? Well, the past three I've been going to practically every LSU sporting event. Even the smaller sports. The seven years before that, I was a high school student in Georgia. I've done my part, so I can bitch all I want!

re: Students kind of quiet

Posted by southgaTIGER on 1/24/09 at 9:22 pm to
students were the only ones standing and screaming the entire game. It took the students yelling "stand up" to get all of you almighty older fans to do anything. At the end of the game when all of you old timers were steady filing out, the student section was still full. I'm tired of hearing all this shite about how the students suck. If you don't like how we're doing, take your arse to the game, and stand up and scream the entire time. Please. Show us how it's done.

Geaux frick yourself.
