Pitching Strategy Tonight

This is a difficult situation because we needed Eyanson to go deep. We have to use our best arms to win this game. Shores/Evans are the next two best arms and should be burned tonight to secure this win.
If the offense gives us a large enough buffer, we can think about saving 1 of the 2.

There is someone that gets paid a pretty good amount t of money that makes this decision. But because this is a sports board I will jump. I think you have to trot someone else out there other than Evans or shores first.
They should have a short leash but if we can save Evans for Wednesday (hoping for a win today) you could then be set up. But what do I know

I considered Williams, and I think he has what it takes. But this game is still in the balance and if we have more trusted arms, we need to go that route. Shores/ Williams or Evans/Williams would work as well depending on the lead.

I like Cowan in this ballpark. ULCA isn’t a swing and miss team. Let Cowan pitch to create weak contact.

Go shores to speed their bats up then close with Cowan and that change up having them out in front
