Been playing a combo set of ZX7's for a few years now and love them but its about time to upgrade because of age. Have currently been thinking about giving the Titleist 150's a run but I'm also still considering upgrading to the new ZXi7's. Would not do anything for a month or so since the new 150's don't even hit the market till July and would want to know what's different if anything.

Anyone played both the Zx7 series and the 150's which did you like more?

Anyone big difference with the new ZX7i over the original ZX7?

Angle of attack is pretty neutral if that matters. As I've gotten better I've became a little more shallow at impact down 3-4 with a mid iron so the vsole does worry me a little more these days since thin is my typical miss.

Unless the new T150s are more consistent I think you’ll like the ZXi7s better. They’re almost perfect. Current T150s are all over the place with hot shots and distance. Some shots feel great but I think the ZXi is the best all around iron on the market currently.

Look at all the wins Srixon is racking up on tour. It’s wild for one of the more niche brands.

JJ, Keegan, Fox, Straka 2x and Hideki.

I love my T150’s. Very forgiving on non center strikes without sacrificing distance. Not too many clunky feels at all. Maybe on a pure toe strike.

After looking into this all day, I'm definitely leaning more into the ZXI7. Have yet to find anyone who doesn't like them. Seems like the only people that move away from them are people with a shallow swing arc who dont like the vsole.

Having hit both I like the ZXi7 better. I thought the ball flight was more consistent though it could have been that I just really like the looks of the srixons better. I think at that level you’re really splitting hairs as far as performance / forgiveness goes. The ZX as a series has been good since it was introduced.

A buddy of mine has the original ZX7 set and in my minds eye I struggle to see a difference between that and what I remember about the ZXi7.
