They’ve been advertising some big change coming. Anyone know what it is?

They’re going to offer a streaming only model and supposedly an entirely revamped app

I’ll believe it when I see it. The worst streaming app I’ve ever used

Can you provide more detail? Are are they just running ads that say "big change coming"

They are launching their standalone streaming service this fall. It's not useful unless you are a person that doesn't have a streaming/cable subscription already. It basically gives you all of ESPN's channels, ABC, and more. I also believe that they are redesigning the ESPN app

Probably the new ability to buy ESPN directly from them without going through a provider.

quote:

ESPN is launching a direct-to-consumer streaming service, also simply named ESPN, that will allow viewers to access ESPN content without a traditional cable or satellite subscription. The service will offer two main plans: an "unlimited" package with all ESPN networks and content for $29.99/month, and a "select" option (similar to the current ESPN+) for $11.99/month. The service is expected to launch in early fall.

While I was at the gym yesterday, I saw baldy interviewing a blonde pickleball player yesterday. You just know she hates the girl.

Following the rules:

I am interested in the streaming service. I don't have cable now but I already pay for ESPN+ and getting SEC Network+ without having to pay for a full cable subscription would be nice.

I know SVP is bald but its kinda harsh to say he looks like that...

Also have fun skipping most of the LSU football/baseball games this year because they are gonna be on ESPN. I dont watch SportsCenter besides SVP version boycotting ESPN is pretty impossible if you wanna watch games.

I wouldnt even know who was on SportsCenter if they didnt come up right before or after games.

It costs about the same amount as 1 hamburger a month. It isnt a huge investment.
