Advice wanted about whether to keep a QB for this season

We are in a 10 team, 2-keeper, non-PPR espn league. I do decently every year, won a few times, finished 3rd last year. The issue I'm struggling with this year is whether to keep Josh Allen. Some stream of consciousness thoughts:
-Coming into last season, I had Amonra SB and nobody else really elite worth keeping so I kept ASB and Josh Allen. I know most people rarely keep QBs and I think JA may have actually been the only QB kept now that I think about it. I took the best available RB with my first pick which was Kyren Wililams.
-Last year I finished 3rd, and that was in large part due to JA just going off constantly. There are so many weeks that I scored well or won simply because of him putting up incredible numbers. Oh I forgot to mention our scoring, we do it to where each week you go anywhere from 0-2 to 2-0. You have your head to head result, and also you get another point if you are in the top half of the league scoring that week. So even if you lose your head to head but still have like the 3rd highest score, you still get a little something.
-Going into this coming season, The only keeper worthy people I have are the 3 aforementioned players JA and ASB again, and Kyren Williams. As you'd imagine, all of the top elite RBs are going to be kept by other teams same as every season.
My internal dilemma is, do I go ahead and keep a RB and WR which gets me nice and set as a baseline, then get a high profile QB in maybe round 2 or 3, OR just stick with what I know works and repeat the same formula as last year? Or another way...what drop-off will be greater; the dropoff between JAllen and whatever QB I'd get in round 2/3 if I end up keeping Kyren, or the dropoff between Kyren and whatever RB I pick first if I keep JA?
I know the conventional wisdom is gonna be "dude it's 2025, don't keep a QB that's stupid", but just knowing firsthand how many games JA has won and how elite he's been as a fantasy QB the last few season...man I really hate to willingly give him away.

I usually never go QB in the early rounds on redraft leagues, but last year I decided to shake it up & took Allen very early. I usually am always in the hunt in leagues but couldn’t get a ring lately, last year with Allen I got into the Championship game. It has me rethinking my strategy like it sounds you are.

Keep Allen and either a RB or WR and fill in gaps, Allen is top 1 or 2 QBs in fantasy lately

I think I'm looking at QB early. My first couple of mock drafts left all kinds of decent wrs and rbs in the middle rounds.
