Man, that wind is blowing its arse off. Gonna be hell on their power systems.

One question though…how the hell are we seeing anything at 11:15 at night during a hurricane?

That video reminds me of Lt Dan on top of the shrimp boat yelling, “you call this a storm?”

That’s what I was wondering, 11:00 at night live camera and it’s daylight.

interesting.

This ocean cam is affixed to the Frying Pan Tower, 34 miles off the coast of Cape Fear, North Carolina. The tower was built in the 1960s to warn ships of the shallow waters nearby. Though GPS navigation technology means this tower is no longer used for its original purpose, it's an important ecosystem for marine wildlife (check out the underwater shark cam to see what we mean) and provides a beautiful view of the sun rising and setting over the Atlantic Ocean.

34 miles out is a pretty good distance.

According to the comments, if it says “highlights” in the bottom left it’s offline

I remember a cane passed the Frying Pan a few years ago and the US flag on it became the new blue shed.
