I drafted Mixon in the 11th round. My league has two IR spots, but the caveat is that a player must be on IR to occupy one of those spots. Mixon is going to start on the PUP, which means I can't move him there and his earliest return to action would be week 5- but the intel seems to suggest he's going to be out longer than that. Is he even worth stashing? I'm going back and forth on it. There are guys on waivers that i'd like to stash, but there's no denying the value of having a high end RB2 in the 11th round for the back half of the season if he's healthy.

Current backs:
Barkley
Hubbard
Jones Sr
Mixon
Robinson Jr.

In the league I have Mixon, he qualifies for IR so it's an easy decision. If he did not, it would be hard to roster him with some folks saying he may not play at all this season.

Whom could you pick up instead? I think I would hold until there is a waiver candidate you can't pass up and Mixon would be a fairly easy drop.

If a guy like Dylan Sampson or DJ Giddens happens to be available, I'd seriously consider dropping Mixon.

Have him in a dynasty and I’m getting “will miss all of 2025 vibes”.

Comes down to this IMO: which do you think has the highest chance of being a starter on your team?

We know if Mixon is truly healthy, he is a fantasy starter. What odds do you set for him to return healthy this year?

Algier we know can perform like a fantasy starter if Bijan goes down. Do you give better odds to Mixon being healthy at some point or of Bijan missing extended time?

Sampson: a little trickier. Is he worthy of a start in a committe? I don't personally think we will see him as a bellcow unless multiple other RBs get injured. Is he efficient enough and consistent enough to actually start for you with limited touches. He could be a bye week fill in, but will he be a true difference maker?

Gordon: I think you need an injury from Achane for Ollie to pay off. Will Achane miss significant time? If he does, will Ollie be a difference maker? People say he's great, but we haven't seen him do it.

I'm sure I didn't say anything you don't know, but hopefully seeing it laid out will allow you to apply some odds to the different scenarios and make the best choice for you. Good luck.
