I never met Charlie Kirk...

It honestly feels like losing a family member. I'm still shocked and honestly haven't been the same since last week. I've never prayed so much in the past, I've never kept the Bible closer to my side. I've never been one to pray for those who want my kind dead but I can't stop praying for their souls. Maybe I'm just thinking about my own morbidity for how I think. But a big part of me wants to Crusade to rid our society of the evil.

Lots of us feel the same way. I'm still both angry and hurt by it.

I can’t feel this way towards someone I never met.

Thanks for posting
I'm sure many more feel the same
You're just brave enough to call it what it is

I saw something the other day that was pretty well put. It basically said if you’re wondering why you feel so upset about losing Charlie Kirk having not known him it’s because you lost a brother in Christ.
Charlie and his book recommendation among many other things helped bring me back to Christianity and ultimately Catholicism. He was a great person, and I will never forget him or forgive the people who are reacting disgustingly. If I had a fire lit under me by listening to him speak, I now have a rocket lit due to his death.

I think a lot of it is the casual liberals that we know personally pouring salt in the wound.

You’re trying to contemplate a morality so low your brain can’t comprehend it. You’re probably a decent person.

Some on the Right are acting more upset than they really are for attention / likes / clicks / money. (This isn’t directed at the OP)

I would describe the feeling as 'Hey, something is missing.' I was a huge Rush Limbaugh fan. But he had a long career and we knew he was very ill. He said a goodbye on the air. And when he passed we were ready. I expected to watch Charlie Kirk's videos for years to come. But now, something is missing.

That could be the case. I won’t jump to that conclusion based off of how it has affected me, and much like others on there, i never knew him personally or met him.

I knew of Charlie Kirk and saw plenty of video clips of his prove me wrong talks and debates, but I didn't know much about the man. The more I've learned about him since the assassination, the more pissed I am about what happened and the loony left's reaction to it. I'm done with them. I'd tolerate their dumbass selves to maintain peace and harmony in my little world but frick that shite now.

Considering the riots of 2020 and the recent uptick in violence from trans aligned people (not to mention the more heated rhetoric from the Left), it seems a touch naive of Mr. Kirk to have not employed enhanced security for these college talks. Particularly for someone with a family and small children.

I wonder how many of the people who he debated ended up changing their minds about the subjects of discussion. Life experience leads me to believe few or none, but I could be wrong.

This is your concern?
Charlie's fellow conservative influences being shook after they watched him getting murdered for doing more or less the same thing they do every day?
The left isn't "acting", I don't have to make the same judgmental leap with them.

The thing that should scare all of us was that Kirk was murdered in spite of doing it "the right way". He engaged people thoughtfully, respectfully, and on their turf. He shared his ideas while always inviting rebuttal. He had no political authority, he was merely a thought leader who wanted to bring conservative ideas into places where they are traditionally silenced. He was killed purely for having beliefs that don't align with leftist orthodoxy.

That was my response and observation.
Not directed at you, but reading the posts here since the event really illustrates the conditions necessary for grifters to make serious bank.

I was a fan and watched a lot of his videos. I'm still waiting on new videos to hit youtube. That will never happen again.
Still doesn't seem like he's gone. All his videos popping up make me think he's still here.
Put that f8ggot that murdered him in front of the firing squad and go to town.

I have seen this type of message SOOO many times. This exact same sentiment. And I couldn't agree more.
I never knew this would have affected me like this. I followed his posts and debates with college kids a lot. past that, not much. i never attended a TPUSA thing. but yeah, he was in my algorithms and feeds.
i was in hawaii at the time the news struck. last day there. i was crushed, and it made NO sense to me. there is something major that shifted in people over this, and it's really hard to put a finger on the exact reason. but man have i seen the exact same notion echoed 1000 times.
"i never knew him. but it feels like i lost someone i knew."
"haven't been the praying sort in ages. now i am"
"picked up the bible"
"i feel like fighting etc"
it felt like something spiritual freight trained our sleeping and apathetic people to awaken. we are hurting over this one.
