Eagles third TD, play should have been called dead

Play clock went to zero before the snap. No talking head has mentioned this. Picture isn't the best but you can clearly see the play clock at :00

All the calls the Chiefs used to get have shifted to Philly

It has generally been known that referees do not blow the whistle for delay of game at exactly zero. I have no idea why....and it is counter to everything else in sports regarding clocks...but that is just the way it is

It has been explained by the NFL. Ref sees play clock hit zero then looks to see if ball is snapped. This always gives the offense an extra fraction of a second to snap the ball after the play clock hits zero.
I don’t agree with this practice and I don’t like the Eagles, but it is what it is.

It’s because “the refs need an extra second or so to look from
The clock to the field and see if the ball was snapped”
Which really is absolute bullshite

The clock on your TV, Doesn't represent the officials call- they are always delayed- nice try.
I guess you dislike the tush push also and think Hurst sucks.

The clock on your TV is the same as the in game clock. Officials just don’t care about getting it right quickly. They were supposed to be better at this in 2025 as one of their points of emphasis.
As for the tush push, just call the false starts and neutral zone infractions and I’d be fine. Play itself should never be banned.

Agreed. The Saints did the same thing today and guess what? They threw a flag

Didn’t Hurts lose the ball on one of the tush pushes today? How was that not a fumble?

First TD was also the result of a no call on false start by the RG on the tush push despite "increased scrutiny" this week.

It comical, some watch the Eagles now to run here to complain about something the Eagles have done ….Tush Push, Hurts sucks, game clock ran out, false start not called, lined up offside, Coach is an a-hole, next week be something else.

They do against the Bucs.
