re: Why are we playing 4 games every weekend?

The only players even remotely susceptible to wearing down are pitchers. But it's college and they don't play an excessive number of games so they'll be fine. .
It is more mental fatigue than physical. They have to show up at the ballpark to play 5 times a week, get prepared for 5 different starting pitchers, etc. And of course these guys are theoretically still students. So 5 games in a week can be draining mentally.

frick yeah, dude. JJ has to go. He only won a title the first time because he had Skenes and Crews. And last year was luck.

Doesn't change the fact that we gave up 13 runs to Northeastern. Pitching and defense let us down big time yesterday.
4 errors, 6 unearned runs. Hard to beat anyone with that.
I am sure the Pearson experiment at 1st has ended.
And Northeastern found a LOT of holes last night. If you take away the 14 times they struck out, they were 15-28 on batted balls, which is a .536 average.

My family has had 3 dachshunds down through the years and we loved them to death. Never had one bite anyone, never had one act like an a-hole or anything like that. We found them to be loyal, lovable, and protective.

I would spend $15 just on sheer principle to not stop at that overpriced Bacoge gas station in Baton Rouge. F them.
I think you mean Bocage....
That station is solely for the use by the snooty Bocage residents who are too good to be seen at the Circle K at Lobdell and Jefferson. I call it the "Bocage Bubble". The baws know their tennis wives will be safe if they stay inside the bubble. They don't mind if Kristin overpays for gas for the family Yukon at the Bocage gas station and for food at Calvin's. It is all about keeping them safe and sheltered from the mean streets of that area,

Texas and California each have 6.

I get the point of what they are trying to do, but in a shite league like that, that is a LOT of meaningless basketball being played the 1st 4 days.
I would be totally ok with letting the bottom 4 teams stay home altogether.

Yeah. Makes sense. They didnt want to put UConn with the best 2 seed (Vandy)

Us and Vanderbilt can only be placed in UConn or UCLA’s bracket.
That's not right
It actually kinda is. The committee in their reveals has shown that they dont want to put teams from the same league as #1 and #2 in the same region. That is why the regional assignments dont match up with the S-curve. (1v8, 2v7 etc.)
They did some moving around to make sure #4 Texas and #5 Vandy are not in the same region.
What I dont get is this...they could have still paired #1 Uconn with #8 Michigan and #2 UCLA with #7 LSU...but they didnt.
