Not historical fiction, but an interesting biography. Any suggestions?

Full disclosure - I know some about the pirate, but obviously could learn more.

I have NOT read the book yet, but if I was picking up a book on Jean Lafitte, today, I would read Jean Lafitte Revealed - it is a 2021 biography done by a mother-daughter team and is just insanely well regarded at this point.
