Whether the coach is a pompous a-hole or a kind southern gentleman, it matters not. You win, it’s a fit. You lose, it’s not.

Winning is the greatest fit and all that matters really.
However, Kelly really was a strange hire. I hated having to defend him after how weird things were in the beginning. It got to a point I could no longer even listen to him speak.

Find a coach that can win and he will fit no matter if it was Kelly or anyone else.
Fit is just a excitement word the media likes to use and it works judging by the amount of idiots that have been making posts about it

We have had two coaches from Louisiana in the past like 75 years. One was basically just an emergency fill in. They are the only ones with any connection to LSU (and one was pretty tenuous) except for two guys promoted from coordinators - who had no connections otherwise.
