Cheaper to replace hvac in winter?

I have three original units that need replacing (eventually)~ is it less expensive to replace in winter?

Cheaper to replace in the times of year when they are not busy (I.e. spring and fall). Anytime they are offering specials to come out and “check” your unit is a good time of year.
ETA: Some in my area actually advertise fairly deep discounts during times of year when they aren’t busy.
