Stay or go, I don't see anything wrong with what LK is doing...

He is much more mature about this than in the past, and how he ultimately communicates the decision will be the final detail.
He clearly loves OM and what it has meant to him. At the same time, there are obviously constraints with OM: stadium capacity, OM not committed to facilities like top tier schools, NIL, etc.
He was presented (he did not go seeking) an opportunity to grow his career (LSU/FL) at two premier schools. He would be stupid not to consider it.
And I am sure OM's "ultimatum" was not delivered the way it has been construed here. I fully expect OM to couch it as in "We want you to stay. You have our BAFO package. All the attention you are getting is what we saw in you years ago. But for the kids and the program, we really need a decision by 11/24 (or whatever)."
LK has to kick the tires at LSU and possibly FL. It is business.
He is not out flaming or sending crazy tweets. Give the man space. It is a big decision. Clearly, many on this board have not been in a similar situation.
There, now back to tracking flights into BR.

Yeah, I would agree. I feel like he’s just doing what any of us would do in the same situation. Talk it out with the other opportunities in private, maintain love for the current job in public. He’s built something at ole Miss. It’s not easy just leaving when you’re having success in a culture you created. Due diligence and whatnot
