advice needed, engine swap 2012 jeep JKU sport

we got 350K on the original 3.6 but its now clicking like a rollercoaster ride. the jeep itself is in excellent shape, and my wife likes it, and its obviously paid for so i'd like to replace the engine. Transmission is the factory 6 speed manual, works fine, no reason to replace.
i'm seeing reman 3.6's like this LINK for a price that seems reasonable. is that what the path of least resistance is?
i'm not going to do this myself, but i'd rather a shop that works on a lot of jeeps. i would not be opposed to transporting it somewhere reasonably close. i'm assuming i would have the shop buy the engine and return the core.
so, anyone here done this before? any advice? shop recommendations (i'm in hammond)?
THX

I've used tricare a few times, never a jeep.
While doing the swap replace the other likely failure points. Gaskets, seals, every single rubber line. Pressure test the radiator. Same for heater core.
Flush the cooling system with distilled water. Refill with mopar coolant.
Check engine and trans mounts and if worn, replace.
If still factory exhaust, obviously cats are toast at 350k. Magnaflow high flows work great for me. Replace all the gaskets there and check the hangers too.
Now is the time to do a clutch, annoying to do it later
But if your only issue is ticking, run some mobil1 0w40 and dump a few tsps of tungsten disulfide powder in the oil.

Rocker arms or lifters. Had same issue with way less miles.

thanks I’ll give them a call tomorrow.
with regard to repairs vs replace I have to believe that we are at the end with this engine, I’m fine with it. It’s either get another 100K or so out of this one or get her a new vehicle. I’d feel better with a replacement.
if I need to spend 10K now I’d rather do it then have it bleed 20 over the next few years
