WiFi signal in my shop

Right now I have Starlink, but I am about to upgrade to Swyft I think. My tv in the shop barely picks up WiFi with door open. I’ve tried a crappy extender from WM hoping to help, with no luck. Question is, would I be better getting a wireless mesh system or burying cable to the shop and putting router there also. Cable burying would be hard as it’s open land and I have tools to lay it easily. Distance of about 200 feet. Thanks for advice

If you add a second router you will either need to disable dhcp and some other settings or else your shop will be on its own subnet which could make troubleshooting issues a little more difficult.
Do you need wireless access in the shop? If so I'd go mesh. You could still pull the cable and use it for a wired backhaul to the router.

So go mesh routers and just plug the one in shop up hardwired to main router?

You don't need mesh in the shop. Take any cheap arse router (mesh or not) and put it into Access Point (AP) mode, hardwired into your main house router. You're running the cable, though. 200 feet is pushing it without directional antennae.
