Shamar Evans, LB out of Forest, MS. Class of 2028 with offers from Bama, OM, Texas, and FSU. Transferring to Ruston. A lot of people are speculating he is moving out of MS because they don’t allow HS players to receive benefits or have agents. Crazy times.

According to some of his family he’s originally from Ruston so not as crazy as I thought. I’m sure he’s still partly motivated by the ability to collect payments moving out of MS.

They can sign NIL deals.

Yep. MS has passed legislation or not cleared the way for HS kids to receive NIL deals. I’m sure that will change soon if this becomes a pattern.
