Is Justin Herbert the most underrated QB in the NFL?

Top average QBR over the last 6 seasons because that is how long he has been in the league.
Jackson - 100.5
Burrow - 99.8
Mahome - 97.9
Stafford - 97
Allen - 96.9
Herbert - 96.4
He is 6th, yet nobody seems to talk about him like they do these others.

Most people consider him a top 6-8 QB, seems appropriate.

If anything he gets enough credit and none of the criticism of the others because he plays for a team that only has that Asian lady they bought as a fan.

Most of those QBs have won a few games in the postseason. Since he’s not outspoken, he will need to do the same to make his presence felt

What about JD5?

Probably the most overrated tbh

He gets crapped on by people that just stay watch and miss that a lot of his picks or losses are his WRs straight up dropping passes. His oline is worse than the Bengals with these injuries and he gets the blame for that. But he is the qb and that’s their responsibility

LSU fans have a major blind spot with Herbert because he came out with Burrow. Some things never change.

He’s better than Burrow so that’s part of it

not more underrated than Lawrence who already has a playoff win but still gets hate

That probably has more to do with him being pretty bad over the last 3 seasons, not counting this one of coursw. I think he will be top 8 or so QB for the next 10 years though.

No, he’s properly rated
Dak Prescott had a higher QB rating thru his first 6 seasons than Herbert.
Win some playoff games and his reputation will rise

Bryce Young will have started a home playoff game before Justin Herbert

Because you can't win the AFC west at 8-9.

Retard alert

Would say one of the more overrated. Harbaugh may save his career. When things are clicking he’s great, but he’s a mental head case at the first sign of adversity.

Mettenberger and Mariota was another blind split.
The statue is coaching high school ball and Mariota is a capable back.

Herbert has been under pressure on average more than any QB this season (40%) and hasn't been much better over the years. He is tough as nails with how many hard hits he takes and shakes it off.

He with Harbaugh is a perfect marriage..
