I do not, however, support the detainment or deportation of American citizens.

We disagree here. If you were born in a foreign country and moved here in the last 10 or so years, I want you gone. Good bye. All the H1-Bs need to go too. Unless there is an absolutely necessary reason for you to be here and you can prove it to an independent panel of citizens, you go home and you have to wait at least a decade to even attempt to come back.

We need to close off ALL immigration to this country. I don’t care what some plaque on the Statue of Liberty written by some random woman says. It’s not a promise nor a policy nor are we in any way obligated to remote honor it in this time.

Oh he can leave. Y’all just have to pay his buyout. Why is LSU not doing the right thing and paying the buyout he is contractually obligated to if he leaves? Seems like a shitty thing to put on a kid who you want to come play for you

You expect them to be honest when they’ve already tampered with multiple players from multiple other schools? This is who they are. shite in, shite out.
It’s the only one of size and note.
Auburn has a football program? Who knew!

Wait until that scumbag wins 9-10 games a year and no championships. Those retarded mud bug eaters will be crying like it's Brian Kelly all over again

I give him 4 years tops there. He may get to an SECCG and a CFP one and done but he’ll gone from there by the start of the 2030 season, either to Alabama or the NFL.
Exceptions, not the rules.

Where’s the proof for LSU, that doesn’t exist for Miami?

Are you genuinely unaware that LSU has been doing this or do you refuse to believe they are doing this? Or do you just not care that they are doing it?

And no one else can get them but BYU? The low-hanging fruit passed around the Internet to explain or belittle Indiana's success is getting old [sic].

You’ll defend anything a Big Ten program does but you’d be the first to bitch if Alabama or Georgia started doing this en masse.

Would be a terrible precedent to be set. “Hey I didn’t play for a season and should count as a redshirt and here’s a made up reason why”

While I agree in general that we should have hard limits on eligibility and stick to them no matter what, I’d rather give an extra year to a guy who didn’t play at all for 2 seasons than a year or two extra to guys who have piece mailed 50-60 games worth of experience over 4-5 years getting more time.

Will be interesting how they determine when a guy’s eligibility clock starts ticking though. When he accepts a scholarship? That can be maneuvered around. When a guy first plays in a game? You can have guys on the scout team for 2-3 years before they start their eligibility. They’ll probably have to do something like you can’t play in CFB game unless you are officially on a college football roster and once you are added to one you only have 5 seasons to play starting from that one. If you leave or get hurt or whatever, tough shite.
We don’t have any proof of Miami doing this right now, only speculation. Even so, if true, it’s one player (not excusing it or saying it’s fine though). LSU/Kiffin have done it with multiple players from multiple schools already so if there is any program that should be quiet in this instance, it’s LSU.
Yeah they should. Should probably clarify the guys who played at multiple schools, maybe count the school they actually played the most at.

Miami tampering? Where's the outrage?!?

You sure you want to throw that stone at any other program right now?
1. I think he’d do well in the NFL but none of us here know his work ethic, his football happens, his motivations, nor his attitude.

2. I want him to make a statement against the NCAA. If they are going to let schools in certain conferences (Big Ten) have a bunch of 6th-7th year players on their rosters with no resistance, then that same standard needs to be applied across the board. Either they can all have 6th-7th seasons or none of them can. Make a rule and enforce it. No exceptions at all.
Jameis Winston, Mike Leach, Charles Barkley, Steve Spurrier, Pat McAfee, and Bill Walton are all the same person and I will not elaborate.
Well yeah a roster full of 22-25 year olds vs. rosters full of 18-20 year olds.

Same thing happens almost every year in March Madness with some random mid major making it to the sweet 16 or further and the media makes it seem like some wholesome story of ragtag underdogs playing with good ole fundamentals when it’s a bunch of 23 year olds that have been in college for 5-6 years and half of them are internationals and they are just physically more mature than the 18-19 year olds that the top programs have in their lineups.
LSU is basically a free community college for instate kids. The academic standards are ridiculously low and well over 90% of the students are heavily subsidized by the state to pay their tuition.

Tulane is the only college or university worth a damn in that state and it’s no coincidence that it’s the only private one and has by far the highest percentage of out of state students.

Andor is currently annoying the crap out of me. It has some good moments, but now the Empire is trying to trick the Ghorman people into rioting so they have an excuse to quell the riot, kill a bunch of people, and then exploit the planet's resources (although that sounds ripped from today's headlines)? The same empire that destroyed an entire planet (Alderaan) just to test the capabilities of its new Death Star?

Andor takes place before ANH so yeah the Empire was still at least keeping a pretense of being “good” for the Galaxy at that point. Once the Death Star came online, the Emperor said frick it all and gave his general carte blanche to do whatever the hell they wanted to.
You had the racist POS shitheads like Cowherd saying he could never be a leader or winner and that no one would respect him because of that.

Of course Winston led Florida State to a 27-1 record the next two seasons, won 2 ACC titles, a National Title, made the first playoffs in 2014, won a Heisman, and was the first pick in the draft.
