I got crucified on here last week for saying Ole Miss winning against UGA was going to absolutely frick us and sure enough it did. Absolutely 0 fricking reason our coaches should’ve been coaching in any of OM’s playoff games. OM is on pace to retain 90% of their roster and we are out here losing guys left and right on our existing roster with minimal additions so far in the portal to replace them. This shite is going to get ugly quick Lane better right the ship.

You’re getting downvoted like crazy, but if Ole Miss loses last week it’s more likely LSU lands Chambliss and Lacy and maybe a few others.
They’re not getting the top two and it’s TBD if we get any of the others at all.

I think you should go outside and touch some grass or maybe even put the phone down and go spend some time with your family. The portal has only been open three days. We weren’t going to sign 30 players within that time period. You people are mentally unstable.

Maybe you should go look at Indianas roster and realize it’s not all about the big names or highest rated players (which we will still get) lane and cwj will get players that fit the scheme and we will be fine.

Leavitt is damaged goods. I am in the medical field I know more about Lisfranc than 99% of the people on this board. I will be shocked if he recovers 100% from the injury in time for the season.

Chambliss currently has top four odds to go #1 overall. He’s not going back to Ole Piss nor was he ever coming here.

This is dramatic but honestly fairly accurate. UGA losing hurt LSU pretty bad.
I said in another thread but LSU just needs to stop recruiting any other Ole Miss players. It’s giving them fuel and bulletin board material if anything. They all seem happy to stick it to LSU and Lane. Chambliss isn’t happening and neither is Lacy. Those are the two leaders, now that they’ve both publicly rejected LSU it’s only going to fuel them more. They’re riding a high and it’s best to just stay out of it. Ideally our coaches would stop going back to help but it’s too late for that now.
As for the portal I’ve also been very underwhelmed. I think Lane has earned the trust at least with offense to pick who he likes, so I’m not liberal skyscreaming like the OP. but signing guys not even in the top 20 of their positions is a bit concerning.
