The only reason Ole Miss is keeping Lacy and Chambliss is they have no choice but to stay after OM upset Georgia. Teams are not going to wait around and miss out on other players with the small portal window in the hopes of landing them.

Many on the Rant thought LSU would get to hand pick Ole Miss players. Lacy is a baller and would have really helped the Tigers.

That’s a very mature take from you. I think the main reason they are keeping them is because they know how much lane wanted them and was counting on them to transfer to LSU

Huge mistake by he and Chambliss. Their stocks won’t go up next year in a brand new offense and with an entirely new offensive staff. They saw the short term money grab and took it.

Good for him! Their fear of LSU has caused them to wildly overpay for Lacy and Chambliss. Supposedly, they will pay Lacy over $2 million, and $4-5 for Chambliss

Need a power back to compliment Berry. Unless Berry bulks up and becomes 210+ and then they just want speed/scat backs behind him. Otherwise a power back is more important than getting Durham back.

Well it can be a mature take thank you for that and people can downvote all they want but you stop and put yourself in a coaches position with a small portal window are you going to pass on other players in the hopes you land them once they are done playing and enter the portal then don’t land them and you have hurt your QB and/or RB depth?
It would be one thing if there was another portal window after the spring like years past but you don’t have one this year…this is it…you can’t roll the dice like that…
