He sounds like Skip Donahue (Gene Wilder) in Stir Crazy.

JUST IN: Maduro reportedly “surprised” by how many rights America grants its prisoners.

You can put anything on the internet and people will believe it. It's depressing.

He’s probably shocked that he’s not being starved and beaten daily like in his prisons.

I don't think they are getting 3 meals a day with the telenovelas on in Venezuela prisons like you do in US prisons.

quote:

Venezuela's prisons are notorious for extreme overcrowding, poor sanitation, violence, corruption, and severe human rights abuses, with inmate populations far exceeding designed capacities, leading to inhumane conditions where prisoners sleep on floors or in hammocks and gangs control facilities, despite laws protecting inmate rights

quote:

Venezuela holds the title for having the highest crime index in the world, serving as a microcosm of the country’s widespread and devastating political and humanitarian inadequacies. Its prisons are rife with deadly disease, severe overcrowding, and starving prisoners whose entry into these facilities calls into question their guaranteed human rights under the Venezuelan Constitution.

If you had some sense you'd know this. But people lack any sense these days.

our prisoners have too many rights. I am all for taking most of them away.
