As a pilot myself, I would not allow my family to fly on an airliner with only one pilot.
In fact, I wouldn’t work for an airline that only requires one pilot in the cockpit. I wouldn’t want to fly a commercial airliner by myself. It’s too much work for one person and too many minor mistakes happen. Thankfully, it’s usually caught by the other pilot.
