I agree. Was at that 49ers game in 1970. Gene Washington catching a TD pass from John Brodie. My grandfather was one of the team physicians under JD Roberts who had taken over from Fears in the middle of the season. We sat right behind the Saints bench. Great memories.

Did you see the legendary Dick Shiner quarterback the Steelers and the post-game brawl in either 69 or 70? Id love to make a deep dive post about that game when the board is dead.
