Started this last night at the recommendation of a friend. Now... let me preface it by saying that my wife worked in fashion design for quite a few years, so I've been adjacent to that world for a while. I agree to watch it, but I was very pleasantly surprised.
At first it appears it's going to just be about the feud between House of Chanel and Christian Dior. But it quickly turns into a historical drama set in occupied France during WWII. For some reason, I had no idea that Coco Chanel was a Nazi collaborator/spy. Anyway, if you like historical dramas or are interested in WWII history, it's well worth watching so far (we're only 2 episodes in).

I watched this because I’ll give anything with Ben Mendelsohn a shot. I have no interest in the fashion industry and still found it to be an enjoyable period piece. I don’t think it was renewed for season 2 but it has a satisfying conclusion without it.
