Buckle up Washington, if you want to go that route

Could he be fighting on Miami behalf, he's from Fort Lauderdale.

Not necessarily. He fights for the athletes and against the NCAA's conflicting rules. Won a big basketball case yesterday

Why would they want to keep anyone that doesn't want to be there.

They don't. They just want to be paid a lot of money for it all

Looks like Demond is going to Thug U.

The Lucas case has been dragging on in court for a year, but he has been playing anyway.

Something to note is that he actually works for the University of Miami as well.

True. Could be a Miami angle here. But he does represent athletes elsewhere

It wouldn't surprise me if Demond ended up at Miami. I'm not saying I think he's fighting on Miami's behalf, but they do need a QB with Beck's eligibility. If they don't get Leavitt, I wouldn't be surprised they get Demond.
Apparently he teaches NIL at Miami law, which I find interesting and have absolutely no clue what all "teaching NIL" entails...

Graduated from Florida, works for Miami I believe as well? Something to keep an eye on

Authored a book called, "How to play the game."

It says he teaches an NIL course there. He doesn't work for the athletic department as far as I know.

I’ve been saying this seems like Miami from the get go.
Miami Has Nothing to Lose Right Now
Miami is still playing in the College Football Playoff, which gives them two major advantages:
Zero immediate media scrutiny…all attention is on the games
No need to rush announcements or deny involvement
Unlike LSU Tigers, who would face nonstop SEC media pressure, Miami can operate in the shadows while the spotlight stays elsewhere.
This isn’t a distraction for them … it’s cover.

Demond while meeting with the AD after realizing the big ten is trying to own his NIL for his career:

All Williams has to do is say he’s hurt and get paid to watch football from their sideline all year.
