How likely is this gonna happen and will it kill the whole season?

100% it will happen. For how much of the season, who knows, but I bet it will get ugly.

It is going to happen. Dont think it will erase the entire season. I do think we lose games.

As long as it finally gets some kind of salary cap in place, a lockout will be good for the long term.

100%
And it needs to happen. Baseball's salary structure needs an enema.

I doubt we ever see that in baseball. I hope we do but I cant see the union allowing it

That's why a lockout will happen.

It will be deferred until 2030 because of the Dodgers

99% happening. Just cause I will leave room for a miracle. Every Dodgers signing has increased the odds of this happening. Salary cap and ending deferred contracts has to happen. The dodgers luxury tax bill cost more than 12 others team total team salary (just shy of 170 million dollars). MLB needs to bring competition back to the game.

That is what is wrong with MLB. The owners don't have the stones to lockout the players and kill that union.

99.9999999999% chance it’s happening
So enjoy this season

There will almost certainly be a lockout starting Dec 1st of this year but there is a chance it will be resolved before the first game is played in 2027.
I really wish this would have happened decades ago. The league is a joke.
There are team's with a payroll that's high than other team's gross revenue, for Pete's sake!

Agree. It will be the first times games have been missed since 95 (started late due to 94). Remarkable when think about it. They had a work stoppages four times from 1972 - 1990 with two of those resulting in missed games.
