Not disagreeing with you guys. But let’s not forget that we’re leading the SEC in walks and wild pitches and third in hit batters. Team ERA in conference games is 6.26, third to last. This season is not all on hitters that left. Pitching hasn’t been good and two guys that are “homegrown”, Evans and Schmidt, have not progressed like expected

Are they giving up walks, yes, but it’s not bad.

Not bad? They’ve walked more batters than anyone in the SEC. They’ve also thrown the most wild pitches and hit the third most batters.

Because billions were made on insider trading after the announcement. Once realize how much the admin cares about personal wealth via the stock markets you will realize it supercedes everything els (except orders from our greatest ally, of course).

These announcements that cause wild swings seem to always happen on a Friday/Sat/Sun. Get ready for oil to spike and the Dow to drop on Monday. Then it will be the opposite. Rinse and repeat.
But the majority has to come from homegrown kids from Louisiana.

No. You do that and you’re ULL or La Tech. A solid program, but you aren’t competing for Omaha.

Who may not even be under control of the government we’re negotiating with. Could be extremist factions running around unchecked and Iran is playing along. Remember the Russian President in the Sum of All Fears?? “In times like these, it’s better to look guilty than impotent.”

Did the White House not plan for higher gas prices as a contingency before going to war?

They did. But for a short time. Now that some are suggesting these prices will linger longer, possibly to Election Day, they have a problem on their hands.

Yeah, im sure golfers making tons of money are worried about liv stopping 6 years from now.

The execs were told on Sunday and started looking for jobs on Monday. This isn’t lasting six more years.

Better draft eligible soph prospects have returned to school at lsu in the past. I wouldn’t write it off

Were any of those projected to go in the Top 10-15 of Round 1? If so, who?

Obviously he's an elite prospect and one of the main reasons he withdrew from the draft out of high school was to show he could add some power to his game.

This was true because he was projected to slip to the 3rd round. Power or not, he’s now projected to go in the top half of the first round. Maybe top 10. He’s gone, as he should be.

one thing ive noticed is as a baseball player you can be having a really good season but no one cares if your team sucks

One player having a great season can't save a team if it is deficient in other areas. The Anaheim Angels had a prime Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani and didn't make the playoffs.

Trump is good at running his mouth. That much is for sure.

He's made similar statements several times over the last month.

he is a top 10 player on perfect game and is having an outstanding season. I know he loves football but baseball is his love. not much a decision to make

I tend to agree unless those mid major offers turn into P5 offers. Then things could get complicated. And with the amount of time baseball and football consume at the major college level, I think the era of two sport athletes is over.

I know he's a '27, but Jordin Griffin appears to be having a much better season (purely based on twitter clips) as a junior.

i still think he ends up at lsu just because of height. But bat speed, throwing velo and overall speed are off the charts. Really really good kid too.

Mid Major Football offers beginning to come in for Griffin as a RB. He'll have more than one decision to make.
The next president of the United States: Marco Rubio.

We also had MJ and Tyson. Boxing was incredible in the 80s

The anticipation for huge fights in the late 80s and 90s probably won't ever return. Hell, the anticipation for summer blockbuster movies is gone too. Both were a lot of fun.

Maybe the worst is over

Not likely. Crude is up 9% already.

Personally, I highly doubt Milam leaves. He’s not an elite prospect at the professional level and he’s a career hitter under .300 in college.

He’s currently projected to go in rounds 5-7. That’s probably high enough to get his professional career started.

Plus the Liv golfers sold their souls and aren’t even competitive anymore

Paul McGilney brought up a great point on Live From. LIV courses are set up for birdies and low scores. It’s a loose atmosphere with music playing. Coming back to a Major, that first round is a shock to their systems. Not single LIV golfer broke par in the first round and their average score was 75.3, worse than the overall average of 74.6.
Hate to break to Mr. Daughtery, no one has any idea what is going to happen with energy prices in future now that Iran has the influence that it has on the Strait.

So what in the posted article is inaccurate?

Not sure how anyone can argue about the accuracy of this statement.

“It is clear that American officials underestimated how cheaply and easily Iran could lock up the strait, even after its major offensive capabilities were disabled.”
