OM, aggy and tenner being lateral moves is debatable
at this point in time sure but they are not on lsu's level in the same way that LSU is not on Alabama, Georgia, or Ohio State's level. It's not like the cream of the crop are chomping at the bit to sign these guys.

We've also been to Atlanta more recently than any of them.

All of those schools you mentioned had a better record than we did. They are respected SEC programs as well. Based on our 2025 record it is arguable that we are a lower SEC team. Just look at our W-L record. One could even say we couldn't have beaten several G-5 schools (excluding Houston since that game was played with a reduced roster).

Every one of them is either lateral or vertical. Several playoff teams there and teams that would be our equal based on last year. You're placing your perception that we are this great team, but reality is we just fired a coach that cost us $50m+ due to us sucking.
In addition, the portal isn't even halfway done. There's a long way to go and I'm sure those folks will get picked up by caliber teams.
