"Oregoning" >>> Clemsoning

Frauds year after year after year. Recruits top talent simply because of Phil Knight and their tick tock uniforms and get hyped up by ESPN year after year only to fall on their face in outstanding fashion. The fatigue is real.
At least Clemsoning actually won something

That’s being polite. Oregon has been getting shite stomped in the playoffs recently.

frick Oregon, their fans talk an absurd amount of shite for a team with zero natties ever. I enjoy seeing them get their arse kicked.

Not to mention they had the 1981 title in their back pocket and their bitter rival had one of the most iconic dream-ending losses in CFB history in 1984.

This isn't what Clemsoning was at all.
Celmsoning is having the win in hand and doing something ridiculous to frick it up over and over.
Indiana is just straight kicking their asses just like they did to Bama. No team can defend the kinds of catches their WRs are making.

Oregon has "Oregoned" before. The 2012 Stanford loss is the biggest example.
-Oregon was favored by 21, at home with College GameDay in town
-De'Anthony Thomas racing Mariota to the endzone instead of making the block for him to score a TD
-Maldonado missing multiple FGs, including one on the aforementioned DAT/Mariota drive and one in OT
-The Ertz incompletion that was overturned to a game-tying TD for Stanford in the final minute despite no conclusive evidence
-Oregon somehow not recovering a Stanford fumble in OT despite surrounding the ball
I'd say it's a bigger "Oregoning" than any "Clemsoning" loss considering the stakes.

Zero, would never put money on Oregon

You’re welcome. Would have preferred he went to his first choice, would have gotten a better draft pick

No it wasn't.
The most Clemsoning shite ever was the Orange Bowl where WVU hung 70 on them. And the 2013 FSU game where they were home favorites and gave up 51.
From Urban Dictionary in 2013:
quote:
1. The act of failing miserably on a grand athletic stage, or when the stakes are high. 2. Record-setting failure, usually reserved for college football.
ETA one of my favorite gifs ever:

Can't wait for the Oregon hype machine next season with Moore returning

Oregon and Notre Dame, they get into the dance but don’t win the title. Media loves them all year and forgets what they do in playoffs year in and year out.

This also could be Moore’s long game to avoid the New York Jets
