From what I've read on this message board, he appears to be saying that our government has been somehow coerced into acting in the interests of Israel instead of US interests
Marco Rubio kind of admitted that though. He said we knew Israel was about to attack Iran, so we had to join in to minimize casualties. In other words, Israel forced our hand.

And he's saying those things repeatedly and publicly during a war.
So what? He's not allowed to question any military action that our country takes?
quote:
In wartime, talking points that agree with or otherwise support the enemy are something else. During wartime, accusing your own government of acting in bad faith is something else. Accusing your government of acting against the interests of the country, while the bombs are falling, is something else. Anyone pushing those "perspectives" right now, during wartime, is no longer just a political commentator.
What's the "something else"? If Walsh is no longer a political commentator for not being 100% sold on military intervention in a foreign country, what are you accusing him of being?

NASCAR hates this. They want the old guard to win especially after the lawsuit.
Meh, I don't believe this. They know that MJ is a draw for the sport, and it's a good thing when his team wins.
At trial, all parties were cordial with one another. The lawsuit only went to trial in the first place because Jim France was stubborn. NASCAR settled once it was obvious that France's position was a losing one.

The left is truly mentally broken.
Whether you agree with our country striking foreign nations or not, Trump still got rid of Maduro and the Ayatollah; two evil men that even many Democrats have condemned over the years.
Most of the Middle East and even fricking Canada supports what we did this weekend, yet the TDS is so manic on the American left, they continue to side with murderous, oppressive regimes who stand for everything progressives claim to be against. Clown World.

That’s not how this works though. With Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Libya…the places we have caused instability, you see massive numbers of refugees that end up all over Europe and in the US.
I'm with you here, which is why I'm uncomfortable with this strike.
We just don't have a very good batting average involving ourselves in regime-change wars/conflicts. They always look like justifiably good things on paper with instant gratification, but then shite goes sideways, or we end up dealing with unintended consequences down the road.
Look, I'm happy when bad guys die. I don't care about congressional approval because basically every modern president has ordered military action without it. These things just never seem to ultimately work out like we hope, and then our country eventually has to deal with another mess.

Not even close. Just set them back.
Is that what obliterated means? Because Trump said Iran's nuclear facilities were "completely and totally obliterated."

Force is allowed by president for imminent threats.
I thought that was the excuse last year when we supposedly destroyed their nuclear program.
What was the "imminent threat" this time?

Iran is an oppressive regime that wants to destroy us, and has been saying that since 1979.
It is about time we are taking them at their word and cleaning things up.
When exactly were they going to get around to destroying us?
They were supposedly "weeks away from a nuclear weapon" for 30 years, then we supposedly eviscerated their nuclear program last year. What are we worried about now?

Should we pass up this opportunity?
What opportunity? When our country gets involved in regime-change operations, shite tends to go sideways, and we end up creating another mess to deal with.
Even if the mullahs are toppled, there's no telling how that power vacuum will be filled. Yeah, we'll interfere with that, too, so "our" guy gets put in charge. But we don't have a stellar record of that working out either.
We basically already fund Israel's military. Most of the Middle East appears to be on their side when it comes to Iran and Palestine. Let them handle it without us.
re: Linda Cohn is dunking Keith Olbermann on twitter and it’s glorious.

Linda has always been a serious hockey fan, so politics were never going to interfere with her celebrating the USA winning gold.
As a former colleague, Olbermann should have known that and just let it go, but he's so demented at this point, he needs to make everyone as miserable as he is.

Amanda Seyfried?
I always thought she was hot, but she's more like the bimbo you bang after a kegger prototype. Not girl-next-door wife material.
Yet another example of how out of touch media companies are with their audiences. Not only did somebody at FOX think this was great idea, somebody else actually approved it.

Probably the Lane Bryant murders.
In my old neighborhood in Chicago, it was the Suzanne Degnan murder. This was arguably the first sensational national news story post-WWII, but it's mostly forgotten about today.
The murder was pinned on William Heirens, but there's a ton of doubt to this day he had anything to do with it. The son of George Hodel, the prime suspect in the Black Dahlia murder, believes his father may be responsible.

The women’s hands were tied behind their backs before they were shot, and a sixth victim survived the heinous attack that unfolded on Feb. 2, 2008 at a Tinley Park store inside the Brookside Marketplace shopping mall.
Police described the attack as an armed robbery that ended in horrific violence, with the store manager calling 911 while the attack was underway. The suspect’s voice was heard on the recording of the 911 call, but that suspect has never been identified.

quote:
On January 7, 1946, six-year-old Suzanne Degnan was discovered missing from her first-floor bedroom in Edgewater, Chicago.
quote:
Acting on an anonymous tip, police discovered Degnan's head in a sewer a block from the Degnan residence, her right leg in a catch basin, her torso in another storm drain and her left leg in another drain. Her arms were found a month later in another sewer after her other remains had already been interred.[14] Blood was found in the drains of laundry tubs in the basement laundry room of a nearby apartment building.

No indeed not. Trump has run three times and has never reached 50% of the vote. His popularity is far lower now than on his last election night, and you think 80% of the people agree with him?
Yet, favorability ratings for Democrats are still in the shitter and aren't rising.
Trump's low popularity doesn't really matter when the average American continues to dislike the Democrats more.

Candice isn't a lunatic. Shame on people who don't swim against the current and challenge to find the truth.
I applaud those who search for the truth, but it's okay to admit Candace has some screws loose.
I've lost track of everybody she has implicated in Charlie's murder because the circumstantial evidence she uncovers never goes anywhere.
I'm not saying she doesn't stumble upon some compelling tidbits of information, but she has to connect more dots than a constellation for them to mean anything.

AI slop. No news host is going to say "February 2026" when we're in February 2026.
Piers looks about 10-15 years younger there, too.
Plus, isn't he still recovering from a fractured leg or pelvis?
This AI trash needs to start getting whacked if the OP can't recognize it.

Go watch clips from Jimmy Dore.
I like Jimmy, but I think he and Metzger have been buying everything Candace has been selling too easily.
I'm all about them questioning official narratives, but they don't ever question Candace's narrative. Confirmation bias isn't necessarily the truth.

Lawn chairs just blew down the hill.
My dad and I were legit talking about this last night.
When I went down there for the February race weekend a couple of years ago, it was in the 50s, but the wind made it miserable.
Fun racing at the end of the truck race.
Hocevar actually helped Kyle Busch to the win instead of taking a run at him, and they gave each other a high five afterwards.
Carson called it a "business decision", so maybe Kyle will stop calling him an idiot for now.
