It’s the single worst trade in the history of the NBA. I live here in Dallas & Mavs fans are completely dejected. It’s truly unbelievable that Nico Harrison would even think about making this trade much less agreeing to it. There will be books & documentaries made about this trade. The only thing that makes any sense after almost a year now is it was an inside job by the league to keep the Lakers competitive. The Mavs are now in a 5-7 year complete rebuild with Cooper Flagg as the one player to build around thanks to a trade that was made 9 months after the Mavs were in the NBA Finals by trading a top 3 player in the league for basically nothing in return. Nico Harrison should never be allowed to work in any capacity for any team or part of the league forever for what he did. Make it make sense.
