The real problem with basketball

This roster cost 2 million dollars (with injured dj Thomas getting 1 million). We are spending more on a women’s roster that can’t win and loses 8 million in revenue every year instead. Most of the teams we play against in the sec are spending at least 8 million on the roster. Some teams are paying one single player more than our roster makes. It is impossible to have success.

Is that it's full of baskets!

This team has much more than $2 million invested in it. The fact you said that with such conviction invalidates anything else you said after it.

Why do you think we aren’t committing more money?

Thomas Jr got close to $2 million; he was one of the top guards in the portal. Then they had to pony up to keep Miller. The roster is probably close to $5 million.

Throw more money at it. Yeah that’s the problem. Do you work for the gubment?

No man, it’s time for McMahon to go. His teams just don’t have that swagger or mean , nasty competitiveness you see in the elite teams. They play hard but it’s not with an edge about them. They need someone to come breath life into this program.
