Evangelical leaders protest Trump immigration ban in 2017

Talk about not aging well…LINK
Found this on a rabbit trail looking for some other stuff. I remember the policy but didn’t really pay attention to the protest…The blissful days of when I didn’t know how bad things could get…
Can anyone find a list of all the signers? I found several links saying the original letter can be found at World Relief ministries website, but all that has is the into (conveniently). I’d like to find which Southern Baptist leaders signed it.
Thanks for any help.

I noticed Lifeway. Isn't that southern baptist?

Yes- I think there is a connection, which is not a good look either, IMO.
Should have clarified- was looking for list of SBC pastors/individual leaders.
For reference, I’m asking this as a lifelong Southern Baptist. I think there are good churches in the denomination, but there’s certainly a lot of room for improvement. I think the “good” churches are good stewards of their own individual congregations, but many of the good ones don’t have the bandwidth to monitor denominational issues.

It's the publishing house of the SBC I think. Stetzer has left the SBC. To be fair I don't follow him, but he's been wrong on just about every church 'development' over the last 20 years.
In 2017, Russell Moore was still at the SBC's ERLC and an anti-Trumper. There might be something on their (ERLC) website.

Russell left Erlc and went to Christianity Today magazine

The SBC is like any of these large entities. It is a prime target for leftists and WEF types to invade. I know our church is SBC affiliated, but we would exit the SBC with a quickness if they were to start pushing open borders, gay pastors, etc.

I have not been able to find the signatories of the 2017 letter. Not too long afterwards, the "Evangelical Immigration Table" was formed. You can see who signed-on here.

Here's a screen grab of the World Relief ad that ran in the Washington Post on 2/8/17.
If you scroll down it mentions: "Other Southern Baptists to sign the statement include William Coates, pastor of First Baptist Church in Gainesville, Ga.; Eric Costanzo, pastor of South Tulsa Baptist Church in Tulsa, Okla.; Matthew Mason, pastor of The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Ala.; Ed Stetzer, executive director of the Billy Graham Center for Evangelism at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill.; and Jay Wolf, pastor of First Baptist Church in Montgomery, Ala."

Thanks for that news. IMO, that's a step in the right direction for Southern Baptists.
