Titans are idiots.
Why weren't more teams in on trying to get this guy? Seems like all the players want to run through a wall for him.

It was no secret he wanted the Pats and they wanted him

He had interviews lined up for pretty much all the open jobs that cycle, the pats were just an obvious pull for him already and they moved very quick and put money on the table to get him quickly once they moved on from Mayo
Now, teams in the previous cycle who didn’t give him a call are the ones that should be kicking themselves. But I think he was always going to be picky about his next job and you were going to have to have a solid ownership in place and give him control of the FO to hire him and either assets or an established /rising QB. Pats coincidentally had all of those things at the right time, and nearly blew it by going with Mayo the previous season.
He’s still very raw on how he was screwed in Tennessee from owner/front office dysfunction. He wouldn’t have gone somewhere he couldn’t call the shots every level he wanted to
