Scheels credit card question

I have a Cabela’s card I use just to get a couple hundred dollars in points each year but thinking of switching to scheels. They seem to have nicer quality gear and brands. It looks like they send you a gift card each time you hit a milestone.
Does anyone use a scheels card or has made the change from cabelas? Is it worth the hassle?

It seems interesting with the premier card but you have to spend $25,000 to be upgraded.
I’ve already got the cabela’s black card and get 5% at bass pro and 1% on everything else. They also have a bass pro business that’s 5% and 1.5%. Then it’s nice have a store to walk into that’s 10 minutes from my house.
I also like the feature from capital one that looks for additional discounts. Not sure if Visa Scheels card has that. My wife bought a holster this weekend and we the people had 25% off on their website but it was on $100 order or more. She hit the capital one save and it found a 30% off with no minimum order.

I have the black card as well and it’s nice but I rarely walk into a bass pro or scheels.
I’m just seeing if I’m missing out on getting quality items from scheels and if I spend that much money, how the benefits compare

I like the club Monday’s that offers 15% off most items and 10% off guns and ammo. They run that several times per year and if you time it right can end up with some good deals.
Picked up a Ruger 10/22 carbon for $55 dollars with points and 10% off a few weeks ago. Grabbed a Canik Mete MC9 Prime for $290 ish yesterday. $60 off from 10% club Monday, $65 points, $200 bass pro gift card from Christmas.

I switched to Scheels. As you mentioned, better quality products and fair prices. Good sales throughout the year.No local stores is a bummer as they won’t ship firearms, gunpowder and such.
Employee owned Christian focused store if that matters to you. It does to me.

Slightly off topic but I just discovered Scheels last year and that is probably the most dangerous store ever.

Scheels is quite possibly the best brick and mortar retailer to ever exist for an outdoorsman ! I learned about them recently on a duck hunt in the Midwest!
The employees are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Quality products and fair prices.

I haven't used Scheels much but bought a jacket for a hunting trip I ended up not going on and forgot about the jacket. 6 months later I sent it in for a refund and they did it no questions asked. It still had the tags on it and was unused, but still, thought they did me a solid with the time gap. Need to do more business with them going forward.
