Team C is firing an OL coach, Team D has let their OC go, Team J has fired a head coach, and on and on and on.
Is this a version of the definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
With the same team players at the same positions, will a position coach change make a difference?

I could imagine a Strength and Conditioning coach imposes different protocols and get different results.
Maybe change the guy trying to bring the QB up to a level (and unteaching bad foot work, teaching faster releases, working on peripheral vision, but for most of the field, how much difference do coaching changes make?

Yes, it's largely coaching.

Coaches are like players in many respects . You need the ones that are at their best more often than the others. That encapsulates a lot more these days versus simply being an individual playing the game.
