Are NIL, Rev sharing, etc. payments to players considered public records?

Curious to know if it is only a matter of time before everyone can see/know what amounts are being paid to individual athletes by college teams.

The funding is not public money so I doubt it’ll be available.

Revenue share isn’t public money? Isn’t it paid directly by the athletic department?

Regardless I wouldn’t be surprised if schools try to dodge FOIA requests by considering the payments/agreements to be confidential student records or something.

Rev share would be unless the NCAA is paying the checks directly. If the LSU Athletic Department is paying it out, it is public money; therefore, it is a public record. If the payee is a minor, there may be restrictions on divulging their identity, but not many players will be minors.
