I keep scrolling down in the transfer portal rankings and I can’t find them anywhere.

Is the team just so good at recruiting, developing, let alone retaining freshmen that they don’t need portal players?

Everyone can pay players now mainly the reason for their fall.

People can’t be as moral as LSU…

I just hope that Saban can’t outrun the statute of limitations before people start coming out of the woodwork. You know, before he can fully monetize on that legacy and all.

Do you also feel robbed? If Saban didn’t go back to Alabama, they’d be less relevant than they are now by a long shot.

You do realize that LSU would have been in the SEC championship game almost every year since he came back right? That whole program stinks and needs a serious investigation.

This is most certainly untrue.

Perhaps their donor class is voting with its money against DeBoer, but it’s there.

It’s all fun and games when you give them a charger, not so much when they want the whole dealership.

Yep. 38-3 tightened the purse strings.

Collective car dealerships and gas station owners do not have the joint ability to make a difference.

They’re probably on the verge of losing half their bandwagon fan base as it is, so any $5 collective donations wouldn’t make much of a difference anymore in terms of volume.

That and their admissions rate is about to go back in the toilet, so I can’t see them drawing any northeastern rich folk anymore either.

The game is changing yet again. Minor league programs depend on freshmen and then serious programs like LSU, Ohio State, Indiana and so on evaluate that talent in the portal afterwards once they prove themselves. Thanks for confirming their irrelevancy.

Cliff notes: they will lose that entire class in the next 1-2 years. The rankings are behind the times.
