Well since we have no clue what he told Miller and the player made an awful play that no coach would suggest, seems more likely it's on the player.

You’re really committed to it.
Players miss free throws, I don’t hold that against him necessarily. Injuries happen to every team, but good coaches can minimize the impact.
Failing to have your defenders set properly is not being snakebit, and he has no one to blame but himself.

My freshman year was 1989. Tons of great players and games with Jackson, Shaq, et. al. Camping out on the ramps of the PMAC to get student seats for games against Duke, UNLV. Awesome times. Glad I got to experience them. Sad that the kids today don't get to experience that level of excitement for the team.

His first drive at Troy was a disaster. Threw a pick six on his first play, got their TE concussed badly (had to remain in Troy), and the Cajuns never recovered despite being competitive with a good team.
Would have been a cool story with him going back home and leading the team to success. That staff remains well in over their heads, however.

Volunteered for LADB hearing committee. Free and easy CLE for the year plus public service. Workload isn’t crazy, the staff is great to work with, and I’m learning a whole new area of law.
