Those seventeen were mostly moderates from swing districts: Brian Fitzpatrick from Pennsylvania, Mike Lawler from New York, David Valadao from California, Maria Elvira Salazar from Florida, Derrick Van Orden from Wisconsin, Tom Kean from New Jersey, Andrew Garbarino and Nick LaLota from New York, Dave Joyce and Mike Carey from Ohio, Zach Nunn from Iowa, Monica De La Cruz from Texas, Jeff Hurd from Colorado, Rob Bresnahan and Ryan Mackenzie from Pennsylvania, Rob Wittman from Virginia, and Max Miller from Ohio. No recent vote where Republicans blocked it—leadership tried to stop the extension, but these guys rebelled.

Expect it to keep happening until Rs get serious about fixing healthcare. 15 years and they’ve offered nothing but unserious dogshit.
As flawed as the ACA is, there are millions of republicans in red states on it. It’s a lot more popular than the very online right likes to pretend, they’re just not in tune w reality.

I suspect that the House pub reps might have known senate would block and played the two step process on their home state voters

This is it
Don’t need an opponent saying you oppose healthcare
This is all the very purpose of Obamacare
“Republicans want to take away healthcare “

Geez..... it's impossible to decide who in DC is actually for the people and against the people.
I have to believe some of this is orchestrated. Like a soap opera, constantly keeping one guessing who is the villian.
