Shout out to UNO for having 1 of the biggest impacts of this case... including Dae-Dae Hunter & Jah Short actually being named in the story... 2 of UNO's starters last year

Use your brain here.
It was a scheme to win sports bets. I’d assume “they” (guys behind the scheme) were looking for players at smaller schools where the games don’t really matter, the players can be bought bc they don’t make a lot of NIL $, & they would not get caught.

I wouldn't touch the big schools if I was one of the ringleaders. There are fewer eyes on smaller programs.
