Ok, all these years I thought Art Carney played the grandpa in that movie. Who knew?

Auburn about 1992 or 1993. Lenny Kravitz opened for The Cult at Beard Eaves. This was before Are You Gonna Go My Way hit. Lenny was semi big after Always on the Run, but a lot of folks still didn't know who he was.
He absolutely blew The Cult off the stage. They could not follow that. We only stayed for some of The Cult and then left. Anyone at the show knew really big things were coming for Lenny.
Another one that was not as much was seeing Queensryche open for Def Leppard on the Hysteria tour. Def Leppard were in their prime and they were good but Queensryche was just as good and maybe a tad, just a little better.
I never got to see them back in the 1970's, but after 2112 came out, Rush was really not ready to be a headline act, but they started being headliners because no one wanted to follow them. It wasn't until Moving Pictures that they were selling out every arena they played.

He has not done one thing that every single President before him, going back to Reagan, hasn't done.

B&J was 80's High Noon.
Fun story. My son, now 18, got drunk for the first time when he was 11 years old. Dad of the Year, right? No. He and his sister and older brother went out to Colorado to stay with my wife's brother for a week that summer. About a week or two after they got back, my wife's brother called and said he found a couple of empty High Noons, or some equivalent drink to those, hidden in a corner back behind one of his couches downstairs. That is where my kids had stayed while there. He said one of the kids must have drank them. Well, we immediately thought of the older brother who was 14 at the time. We went and grilled him hard. We knew he did it. He kept denying it and we told him he better tell us the truth. He would not back down. We were mad at him for days.
Few days later out youngest, the 11-year old, comes to us and can't stand the guilt anymore and admits it was him. We were shocked. He said he found them in the downstairs fridge and thought they were some kind of canned fruit soda. He was not lying. He had not been exposed to those things as we drink real beer and liquor at my house. He said after he finished the second one he felt really funny and took a closer look at the can and saw it had alcohol. He said they threw him for a loop and he wouldn't do that again.
Yeah, I bet :rotflmao:

MGM Paramount thought the show was about Long Dong Silver.

One thing I wonder about is why they have stayed in the bunker so long. Xavier was in or near Atlanta and he could walk around in the open. Folks went all the way from Memphis in the open. Seems when the President ordered the giant EMP, that got rid of most of the nukes and not very many hit their targets.
So, why are they still underground? Seems they could go topside. Does Sinatra have a reason she wants them to stay underground for a while?

Gas prices are based on replacement cost.
But when you hear about barrels prices dropping on the international market, it is usually 2-3 weeks before you see it dropping at the pumps.
Hmmm :dunno:

Not to discourage, but years. It really depends on the time you put into it. Your learning will ramp up when you start playing with others. I would try to work on getting to that point as soon as you can. Don't wait until you've mastered that intro to Hysteria by Muse or learned a bunch of complex stuff. As soon as you can get though some basic three chord rock and blues songs, find a group of folks to play with. Learn the 1-4-5 blues. It is the easiest thing to learn on bass and it gets you into about a million songs.

I'm not sure about this movie. The previews have kind of turned me off. It doesn't look that good and it kind of gives me vibes of that horrible Adam Sandler Netflix space movie. Please tell me it will be better than the previews. I'm unsure if I will go see it at the threatre until I get some feedback.

If not tax on NIL passes in Mississippi, you will see the fastest a piece of legislation has ever moved through the Alabama state government and signed into law. Even if they have to raise Gov. Meemaw from her drunken coma at 12:30 in the afternoon, they will get that shite done.

Can you imagine what it must be like for the offense guys that have been with us the last 2-3 years to be able to work with and play with Byrum Brown. It has to be night and day eye opening for them.
