PGA Tour season underway.
Not an amazing field, but think there are 4 top 10 OWGR in the field (Spain, Henley, Griffin, MaCIntyre) which is better than I’d expect for the Sony.
Adam Scott might have one of the more ridiculous pars you’ll ever see on his last hole.
OB ball. Followed by a drive that somehow kicked out of a bunker into the fairway. Then a 190 yd shot to 4 feet.

Really hope they don't get rid of the Hawaii swing. Great to start the year with some evening golf

Still upset about Kapalua. Was on Maui in October and was supposed to play but it was closed. Ended up playing Wailea Gold instead which was an incredible course but had been looking forward to playing Kapalua for awhile.

He is t41 right now. Will probably need to shoot at least a 69 again to make the cut. Fun storyline at least!

Most Sony Open winners are 3-5 shots back after R1 so the top of the leaderboard will be completely different come Saturday.
The Thursday AM wave benefited from not having much wind to start the round which is why all their names are at the top.
