Making a trip to hot springs in a couple of weeks and looking for course recommendations in that area.

I stayed in Hot Springs Village over the summer. Im not super experienced out there but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the courses. We played at Cortez and loved it. I've heard Diamante is considered the best one but driving by them they all look very nice.

Diamante and Balboa at Hot Springs Village are both primo. You won't be disappointed in either.

Diamante is private but reciprocates with some other clubs. I'd try to go through your club pro if you're a member somewhere.

Hot Springs CC allows public play, is nice, really hilly, in town and has bent grass greens.

Diamante is an amazing tract. If you can get on, do it.

I also played Granada. Very good course.

In my opinion, Granada, Isabella, Cortez, and Balboa are the 4 best public courses in the village. If you can get on Diamanté it’s worth it. Never played Hot Springs country club so can’t give you any insight on it.

If you can't get on Diamante (best in the Village), then Granada and Isabella are the two best there (in that order). Granada is a great gold course. After that, some personal preference. I actually enjoyed Ponce De Leon and Cortez. We skipped Balboa to play Granada a second time.

Enjoy!

Granada and Cortez were both great. Ended up playing Cortez twice.

Would be a bit out of the way.

Bout to book some time over on one of the “lakes” at desoto. Play as much as possible. Hard to beat that value and quality.
