NHL has fully won me over the NBA.
Haven't watched a start to finish NBA game in probably 2 years and I used to be the type that would go out of my way to find crappy streams of Pels games to watch

It absolutely is. If you are a recruit wanting to play for Wade, would you prefer to rep LSU or NC St?
Its not even close

He will be paid more, LSU is a more attractive brand with the right person recruiting, and he would probably have input with the new arena

Yep. You either someone with energy or a straight up dickhead here to win like Wade or Hurley

Program is seemingly cursed. Terrible injury luck
Terrible luck tonight, although it should have never gotten as close as it did

Yes we just lost to South Carolina, but with a healthy DJ Thomas there is a scenario where we win at least 4 of those. & I don’t think we go 0-2 against Arky with DJ playing
Have you watched Arkansas at all?
Acuff is probably the best PG in the country and they have an advantage in the post
Texas just beat Alabama on the road and Ole Miss has a significant coaching advantage and will be at home.
McMahon has won like what 4 road games in 3.5 years now? You think they can realistically win 3 in one season. It won't happen. They have to have the 2 games this week

The loss to SC last week felt like the nail in the coffin, but I am forever a sunshine pumper. Question for the optimistic LSU fans - what is the magic number for us to get in the NCAAT? 8-10? 9-9? # of Q1 wins? If we can get DJ Thomas back Saturday, I still see a path to 8 wins**
If they don't go 2-0 this week, there is no path to 8 wins.
They have Florida and Arky on the road after. You will be staring down a 0-7 start
Best case they win the next 3, MSU, @USC, Georgia, then Lose to Arky and Tenn
So you are 3-9, then hope for a miracle 3-3 finish against @Texas, Alabama, @Ole Miss, OU, @AUB, Aggie
6-12. You have to have the two games this week to have a shot at 8

The two titles are irrelevant.
Thats like saying Nebraska is a better program than Oregon because of the run in the 90's

Why would it?
Because the fanbase, despite being a school located in quite literally the trashiest state in the US (see amount of bud light cans on side of I10), having the governor get involved in sports decisions, and being known as degenerate alcoholics, thinks we are too classy to chant STTDB.
To those opposing, I say go frick yourself

Top 3 dumbest arguments made in this thread -
I would also add in the fact people keep saying and acting like NC State is such a better job than LSU
Outside of the fact they don't have baseball fan morons shitting on the basketball team 24/7 the programs are very similar.
29 tourny appearances to 24
4 final 4's vs 3 final 4's.
They have been largely irrelevant since the 80's outside of the 2024 final 4 run
Add in recruiting hotbed LSU is in and the fact Wade is young enough to be here for the new planned arena, it wouldn't surprise me if he comes back

Carbs are very important, but only in the amounts that your body needs which, with the proper amount of fat and protein will produce itself, and it doesn’t need an excess of carbs that cause an excess of glucose which triggers insulin, which is an important hormone when used correctly, but which is absolutely devastating to our bodies the way it’s used in the standard American diet, which is why obesity, clogged arteries and type two diabetes, which by the way used to be called sugar diabetes until the sugar industry put a stop to that Is way past even epidemic levels in our society.
That is because the average American gets the majority of carbs through sugar. Or sugar filled shite. If carbs were gotten through jasmine rice, sweet potatoes, and fruit, they would look different

i’m not sure what you’re trying to prove here. Assuming they are heavy the protein looks fine, but they would do much better without that much carbohydrates. If they compete, I’ll guarantee you they cut out the carbs close to a competition when they are most likely training the hardest. How does that happen without the excess carbs?
Trying to prove that you are an idiot. For the average person, a diet without carbs is unsustainable. You are attempting to demonize them, which is stupid. People with the best physiques on the planet eat hundreds of grams of carbs per day.
What people need to do is eat a balanced diet and use a food scale to accurately track macros and calories. And of course exercise.

Yeah if you want to look like a bitch.
Carbs are more important than protein if you exercise at all.
Most bodybuilders I follow are eating 400-500 carbs a day with protein being around 250

The majority of people, that I see, going to McDonald's in the morning are getting a coffee on the way to work.
Coffee shops are the worst. The last hospital I worked at had a coffee shop in the lobby. Occasionally would go up to get a black coffee, because the coffee the nurses station and our breakroom had tasted like gasoline.
Would always be waiting behind wildebeast that would order these 700-800 calorie sugar filled desert coffees that had caramel, whipped cream, the whole 9 yards. Then they would get a bagel or muffin to go with it. Nice 1,000 cals to the dome before 8am

Will be in BR for a few days next week and will get a guest pass somewhere. What is the closest thing in the area to something like HWY 22 gym in Mandeville or Iron Works in Biloxi?
Prefer to give my money to a small independently owned gym instead of a place like Club4 or Crunch

If Thomas returns, I think we will beat Kentucky. We played a little better today than I expected, and that gives me hope. Miller finally looked decent. Max is playing very well. Nwoko’s and Sutton’s play have dropped a little, but they are still good. Reece is improving, but he isn’t nearly as good as Thomas. Tamba continues to play steady, but his shooting is a liability. Mosley looked like he belonged. If he can emerge, it’ll give us another good 3 point shooter that isn’t a liability. Carter and King are liabilities, so we really need Mosley to emerge. With Mosley and Max on the floor, it’ll make Thomas even better. We may have dug a hole that we can’t dig out of for post season, but with Thomas, I’m optimistic about how this team will do in the remainder of the SEC schedule.
If they don't beat UK and Mizzou at home, you can chalk up another 3 win season

Wade won nothing and got fired for cheating. It’s is what it is. But people liked him and apparently most of you think he has some loyalty to LSU to want to come back. We aren’t a basketball school. He’s done. Move on.
This is false
We are not a basketball school because we choose to be content with mediocrity.
Outside of Kentucky, Arkansas, and Florida, LSU has as much history and tradition in basketball as anyone in the SEC.
3 final 4's, Shaq, Chris Jackson, Pete Maravich.
