Ron DeSantis would be great in an AG role

Really think getting rid of Bondi and nominating DeSantis would be a great move.
A few reasons:
1) His term is about to expire in FL
2) Would be a great transition from AG to hopefully VP running mate to Vance
3) Whatever you think about DeSantis, when it comes to getting shite done and figuring out how to work thru complicated problems, he knows how to do it. He is almost autistic in the way he executes strategy, and knows how to outthink the opponent multiple steps in advance.
4) Bondi is completely weak and unable to work thru the red tape. As soon as she encounters a barrier, it’s like she gives up altogether.
5) Would improve RDs appeal and profile with the Logan MAGA/Trump portion of the coalition, and could be beneficial to his political path down the road
6) Has enough establishment credibility that would hopefully allow him to be confirmed. If a Republican Senator voted no, they would have a ton of explaining to do

agreed, we need to find room for DeSantis after his term is up. He’s too valuable to just sit on the sidelines and make TV appearances.
POTUS would be ideal but seems very unlikely for 2028. VP seems like a waste and doesn’t fit his action-oriented leadership. AG is the most logical choice.

I would prefer he be brought in as AG and stay in that role under Vance. But VP seems to be more of the stepping stone to POTUS

If Vance is the nominee, I’d prefer an elder statesman type for VP. Keep Rubio as SoS with DeSantis at AG.
That way, you keep the door open for Rubio or DeSantis to be next man up without wasting their talent in a Vance administration.

I have always heard that he really wants to do something with FEMA. He seems to enjoy logistics and getting things set up and stuff like that whenever there is a natural disaster

RDS should stay as far away from the Trump Administration as possible.

I don't know if POTUS is in the cards for him. I could see Vance/Rubio and DeSantis as either AG or SoS. There are a few places within the cabinet that he would fit nicely.

He is not going to be AG - there is no scenario where that happens. Sorry.
I do not know what his next move/plan is at this time but he certainly has his handlers checking on what could be next.
Senate? maybe. Does he get out of politics? doubtful. President run? Big question as he would have to go against Vance and currently that is a huge loss but there are 2 more years to see what develops.
Heck, democrats have their own problem... what if Trump is impeached and convicted? Vance is Pres! He would (in my opinion) be better than Trump because less controversy and could continue the success for another election win.
