Danny Etling was such a breath of fresh air after watching Jennings, Harris, etc. struggle to do anything other than hand off the ball.
Dude was tough as nails too.

In the 10 year span of LSU's QB Dark Ages (2008-2017), Etling was undoubtedly the 2nd best QB that LSU had, behind only Mettenberger.
The gap between Etling and the next best QB is MASSIVE. (Lee, Jefferson, Jennings, Harris)

You mention the QB Dark Ages and don't even bring up Harvard transfer Andrew Hatch? That last concussion put the final nail in an entire season.
